What should I know about Zooming class?
Arrival - Classes begin on time. If you are new to the class, please arrive early so I can help you get yourself settled. It’s helpful if everyone can arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins. This gives you time to set up your blankets, gather what you need and fully settle into Shavasana.
What you need - Svaroopa yoga blankets work best for class, however, many students have taken class using props they have on hand in their homes. Everyone will need a chair, preferably a folding chair. Gather multiple blankets, throws, large towels, pillows and cushions. Yoga blocks are used in almost every class. You can use books, blocks or Tupperware, in a pinch.
Set-up - Set yourself up with the top of your head closest to the camera and your feet facing away. Position yourself so I will be able to see your entire body while in all poses.
Attire - Please dress comfortably for class. Light colored clothing makes it easier for me to see your angles. Wear or bring layers so you can adjust. You may get cooler when you relax in Shavasana, so you may want to cover yourself with a blanket.
Bring - Feel free to bring a covered water bottle.
Eating - For your comfort, plan to eat an hour or more before class, or if that’s not possible, eat something very light.
